Introducing Coquelicot!

Finally, it’s ready! :-)
These last few weeks I worked hard on a very special project and I’m now very proud to be able to release my very first pattern!
So let me introduce Coquelicot!

Coquelicot

If you like to dream about warm and sunny summer days, then you will love knitting this shawl. Inspired by the whimsical beauty of poppies dancing in the wind in the middle of a golden field, wearing this shawl, you will feel just like one of these delicate flower is covering and keeping you warm!

Knitted from the center top with increase rows shaping it into a semi circle, this shawl is an easy to memorise pattern with just a bit of challenge in the lace stitch pattern to keep you interested until the very end.

Perfect as a first lace project, this versatile piece will be a favourite in your wardrobe keeping you warm and stylish at the same time.
But beware, this is an addictive pattern and there’s a chance you will find yourself knitting in the middle of the night just to see it develop. :-)

So, if you feel the desire to knit it right away, here’s a link to do so.

For more infos on this shawl, I invite you to go to my Ravelry page.

And also I made a post on two special techniques I used for knitting it. You can find the purl centered double decrease and the stretchy bind-off right here on my blog!

I’m hoping new ones will follow shortly but I can’t promise anything for the moment. But finally being able to release my first one motivated me to do more!
I really hope you’ll like it and that you will enjoy knitting it as much as I have.

Also, don’t forget that by liking my Facebook page, you’ll be sure to have the latest updates on futur ones! (And so much more…) :-)

So what do you think of it? Are you going to knit it?
